Tuesday we hiked 7 miles up and back on the Horse Gulch trail. Nothing too exciting - just the usual purple mountain majesties. Tuesday was our only cloudy day.
Our last full day in Durango we hiked up the Smelter Mountain trail. This mountain has all of the cell towers at the top. The hike is a steep 1.2 mile climb - from 6,500 feet to 7,600. Amazing views of course!
